Fantasy is what makes life interesting.

Often people discuss what is "normal" and how everyone should just be normal. Usually this means you are expected to dress and act a certain way, that you view the same things that everyone else has agreed are what we should be watching.

I believe that if everyone met this definition of normal, life would be dull and boring.

In reality, almost everyone has fantasies. Some people act on those fantasies and others suppress them. I photograph them.

Fantasy photography can also sometimes be referred to as fetish photography. A fetish is simply something that interests you above other things. Under this definition, my personal fascination with space exploration and the X-15 Rocket Plane could be considered a fetish. However, this is not how the word is usually used. Fetish is considered to be on the fringe. In other words, some people consider such things outside what the siupposed majority would call the norm.

Maybe being on the fringe is why I am attracted to this type of photography. As with exploration, I always wish to push the envelope to see what comes next. Maybe I just want to say to everyone, "Why be normal, when life can be so much more exciting, interesting, and even more importantly—fun?"

Fantasy photography can be an exciting experience for both the photographer and the model, even if these particular fantasies are not their own. It gives you the opportunity to push your own boundaries. Maybe after trying fetish modeling, you might find a side of yourself that you did not even know was there.

As with my regular modeling photography, I often work with women who are simply interested in doing these photos just for themselves or a loved one. Being a professional model is never a requirement. Experimentation can spice up your life.
