Kaiser Permanente in Orange County has been a great friend to the transgender community. They were the first insurance provider to fully support trans people, along with our medical and psychological needs. To my knowledge, they were the first to provide an in-house support group for Kaiser trans patients. That has now expanded to where they offer 4 separate support groups at two locations which cover the needs of everyone, from 7 years old to adult, from trans men and trans women, to gender fluid, bi-gender, queer, to family and spouses.

Anyone who is a member of Kaiser may opt to join whichever group fits. To attend, they ask everyone to first attend an orientation meeting, then they are free to go to their respective groups. Below is a copy of both sides of their brochure explaining the details, and also including the dates and times of all meetings and the initial orientation.
